GRAFFITI RUN

 

 Jonny and I signed up for this about 2 months ago and were so excited to do it. When I was out at school I never got a chance to go to the festival of colors, so I thought with doing this 5k, there is color and we can get a good run/ workout in as well !!! It turned out to be a lot of fun, we both got  a free color packed and we had a lot of fun running ( this was really the first time we had both run together, and we did really well)!  The bottom left picture of the first set is the Finnish line, it seemed to go by so fast we were both surprised when we saw it. 

 Every quarter of a mile there would be these stations that we would run through, with people throwing a different color on us. By the end of the race we had 4 different colors on us and in us including our eyes, nose, ears, and mouth! Each picture below is each station we went through, it was a lot of fun, the color is a little hard to see because of the light but we were caked !!!

This was a perfect start off to moving and starting a new healthier lifestyle ! Here is to working out more and eating healthier !!! :)

It's Move in day!!!!!

 The day has finally come April 12th how I have waited for you!... The night before we loaded up all our things into a flatbed trailer, that we borrowed from someone in the ward ( blessing, it saved us a tone of $$$ ). We managed to fit everything in the Car and truck with the trailer, it was perfect!we woke up extra early cleaned and had a hardy breakfast for our BIG day !!!! We both hopped into the cars and started making our way to our HOME SWEET HOME :) . I followed Jonny all the way there and was watching our stuff like a hawk, so nothing would fall off or get messed up. Well 35 min. latter we pulled up to our new place and started unloading. Thanks to David and Kye Holden ( my brother and sister in law) we were able to move everything in, in no time at all. Once we got all moved in everything looked GREAT, our furniture looked great with the room. I just cant wait to decorate everything! As of right now its pretty plain, but its our home and that is all that matters to me. We love walking around the awesome park and all the places and things the area has to offer, we could have not picked a better place for us to live!:) Its also great because it only takes Jonny around 10 min to get to work, avoiding toll roads when it use to take 35 to get there and 1:30 hr to get home!!! I have come to already appreciate our place there really is no place like home! :) 

The first morning while in our new appartment this was our wounderful breakfast. we had the food and the bowls but the sliverwhear was missing in action, so we improvised ( an ice cream scooper and a tablespoon had to do the job).  Latter that day we went out and bought the most beautiful silverwear ever !!! I love it.. Even though we do not have everything we were doing pretty good for the first day, least we had bowls !!

Our First Easter Together!

With it being our first Easter we wanted to go and take a few pictures. Thanks to my new amazing photographer friend Rachel she was happy to do them for us!!!. We just went to the local park here in town and snapped a few, she loved Jonny and just thought we were the cutest couple ever! ( I think im her  only married friend) The only think I did not enjoy about this picture session was I stepped in a pile of ANTS!!!!!! AHHHH one of my worst fears, I jumped and ran like a bullet away so fast. The pictures turned out great and we had a lot of fun doing them. 

It was such a beutiful day the lighting was great and it wasn't to hot, these are only some of the pictures that we took, we took so many good ones I didnt know witch ones to use..

  What a handsome man, I just love Jonnys smile and amazing eyes so much! Im such a lucky girl, there are always many, many things to be thankful for and he counts as a lot of them. What a blessing that we can be together and share a life together:) !!

     Soooo I hope everyone had a GREAT Easter this year because we sure did :)

Hippity- Hoppity Easter

This year was our first Easter together, even though we were both busy we tried to make it a special one! I was so Egg-cited that while Jonny was at work I put up some decorations that I made. Jonny said he likes the little things I do here and there to make things special and to feel like home. I didn't do much this year with decorations, but next year will be a lot better I promise :) !


The Easter Bunny Came to our HOUSE!!!!!!! He left this note in our bathroom explaining his mess he made! if you cant read it the note says, " When i came to leave your basket I stepped in some gum and some string!!! I could not get it off, I finally got it off at your basket.... Now hop along...." What a crazy bunny ;P

 Jonny woke up to a text message telling him its time to find his basket! He walked into the bathroom and saw the notes ans started his adventure, little did he know the Easter Bunny was very mischievous and can fit into tight spots. He walked out into the room following his string and saw a wall of string going in every direction!!! It went in the closet-bathroom-bedroom-bathroom-TV room- bedroom- behind the toilet and many other places. He followed it and kept hopping as instructed to find his basket. For Peep's Sake, It took him 30 minuets to get to the end of the string to where his basket or "Carrot patch"  was.  He was dip, dodging, and diving to get around the strings. While Jonny was hoppin' down the bunny trail, I was enjoying watching every minute he had the biggest smile on his face! When he found his Basket Jonny felt "egg"stra special...

This Easter I wanted to make a cute desert for our Easter dinner, I saw on pinterest of a cute idea of making carrots out of strawberry's. It turned out to be a little fiasco the chocolate would not mix with the food coloring, we had a cup explode in the microwave and we only had so much chocolate !!!! when all was said and done this is the only one that looked anything like a carrot :) and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!    

This Easter turned out to be a bound of fun!!!! I cant wait till next year. We also took some Easter pictures that I will post soon. I had gotten a new Easter dress and we are VERY excited for SPRING, and FLOWERS. We hope that the heat does not kill it all, and that SPRING will actually last.
