Ruby Strebel ! What A JEWEL

 My sister Jessica and husband Eric welcomed the cutest little girl, Ruby Dawn Strebel May 5, 2015 at 7:41am. She weighed 6lb 7oz (even smaller than Emmett was when he was born) and was 20.25in long. This little girl will never go without a bow on her head and a darling outfit !!!! If she is anything like her beautiful mother she will grow up to be the most precocious jewel of all !!! I am so happy that little miss Ruby will soon have a girl cousin to play dress up and have all the tea parties their little hearts desire ! 

This little niece of mine was born smiling, with such dark hair, total opposite of her big brother Emmett. I just think its amazing to watch how little babies grow up and how they really start to look like their parents. I was So excited so finally meet the first granddaughter, in the family. I went up to North Carolina a few weeks after she was born and could not believe how small she was... I just loved to snuggle and get all the baby kisses I could. Congrats to the amazing parents of Little Miss Rudy Dawn and to one CUTE family !!!

IT'S A GIRL

Bows, pearls, sparkles and kisses are going to be even more of plenty in our home !!!!!  All my siblings had boys first..... so deep down I thought it would be a boy, but the more I thought about it and with all my CRAZY, symptoms it had to be a girl. There is a saying that ( girls will suck the beauty right out of you while your pregnant) I knew it would ether be a beautiful baby girl or a very pretty boy ;). Of course I participated in all the tricks and old wife's tells to guess what our baby was: the string with my ring, Chinese charts and many others all pointed to having a girl. I was a little nervous finding out it was a girl, because at that point I only had all nephews, what am I going to do with a girl!!! She Is going to be a tom boy for sure....... but if I can help it she will love climbing trees, AND  also dressing up like princess !!! 

 At our ultrasound, I was 16 1/2 weeks along, and we were so excited. During the appointment she was moving around so much, I was surprised that I could not feel her. The first time I did feel her was around 20 weeks!!!!!! She just loves to give me little butterflies to let me know she is there. She is a dancing, flipping, twirling girl. Even though she was moving so much we were able to get some good pictures, her little feet where so cute and small !!!! ( less than 1'' at that point,  crazy so small.) the next picture is suppose to be her profile, but both Jonny and I see the picture differently.... Is she facing you or is it her profile???? Who knows all I know is that WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ONE, BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL IN NOVEMBER !!!!!

We Are Growing By Two Feet

At our first doctors appointment we, were able to hear the heart beat and everything. IT WAS AMAZING we found out that I was 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant at our first ultrasound.

When I first took the test the line was so faint, I didnt see it at first. Then after looking at it for a while the line just got darker and darker. Jonny was excited but skeptical. A week latter I took another test on a digital and well it showed up and we were both VERY excited to be growing our baby by two little feet !!!!!!!

 When we found out we wanted to tell our parents by doing something cute, we sent these little surprises to them and had them Skype us when they got it. Both of our parents were so excited and were very surprised :)

  When we found out we were expecting I took a picture, I was 6 weeks along! I am so excited to see our little baby grow :) this year on Mothers Day Jonny surprised me with this beautiful flower arrangement and an amazing dinner. I am so luck and our baby is so lucky to have husband and daddy like him !!!!!

Off the Grid Year Sum Up, Back to Houston

We will miss the sunset, our chickens, and our amazing garden that we worked SOOOO hard on. We got zucchinis that were 20' long !!! They were amazing, we were both so sad when we had to move right before we could harvest even 1 tomato :(. I feel like iv missed quite a bit this year but iv decided to start fresh. Back to Houston we go.

Crazy Chrisrtmas and Cruse updates 2014

 We spent a awesome week in Charlotte with the family, spending time form playing games to getting tazzed! We got this wonderful family picture on a rainy day.

 All the nephews just love Uncle Jonny.

 It was a great Christmas and I am so thankful to have such an amazing family.

 Right Before Christmas we met up with Bethany and Tyson Jex for our Cruse!!!!!  We had so much fun, in Cozumel, Mexico. From playing put-put to diving to eating all kinds of crazy food ( but YUMMY). We loved soaking up the sun, and enjoying all the shows. 

Our Christmas Cards this year 2014. We had a great Photo shoot, so thankful for my amazing husband and this past year we have had together. 

2014 Edistow Island / Fontana Village

After playing a long game of Put-Put we got these boys snow cones!!! They loved them and it got all over there little faces:) Fontana is the best place in the world !!!!

The beach was so fun, we would hit the beach then the pool and back at the beach!!!! Those boys can swim all day, every day!

We fed seagulls and caught crabs on our daily walks! We even saw a lot of dolphins. I love the beach and I cant wait for next year.
