BLUE- BELL Factory Goodness!

Jonny and I have recently discovered that the Ice cream Blue-Bell is really, really popular thing down here in Texas. Everyone has been telling us that we need to go to the factory where it all started, and see how they make it as well as taste test all the flavors. when they said taste testing I was in, who doesn't love Ice cream. The factory was about an hr away, and once we got there we got right in with the new tour. They didn't allow any cameras while on the tour, because the workers don't want their pictures taken everyday. It was really cool though, the most fun fact I learned is that it takes 60,000 cows a day to make Ice cream and that the company is named after the mans favorite flower the Blue Bell. The tour lasted about 30 minutes and we saw them make all kinds of different flavors, its amazing to me that they had so many people working there and how proud they were to be working there. I was a little jealous when the lady said, "Here at the factory we eat all the Ice cream we can, then we sell the rest!" I even saw that they made a PICKLE Ice cream when I asked about it, the lady didn't say much... guess it didn't catch on... At the end of the tour we tasted 20 or so flavors with a cup of our choice and we where full of it. We had our Ice cream lunch and then walked around the grounds of the factory, there was beautiful flowers and statues everywhere. It was a really fun, easy going trip and we even got full on ICE  CREAM :) .
